Everest Short Trek


Everest panorama trek is the shortest trek of the Everest region. It is daily scenic walks. Every day we get exciting views just in the shade of rich Sherpa Buddhist cultural village. We get an adventure in a short period of time. This trek is suitable for all age’s people. Our trail goes through a dense forest of rhododendron, pines, birch, firs, and oaks. This is a land area of Sagarmatha National Park. Here we can observe many rare plants and animals conserved properly. In summer season valley and hills turn into paradise because of the colorful flower blooming everywhere in the wild forest. The shade Mt. Everest and much adjoining range of adjoining beautiful peaks, make our trek more awesome.
We start our Everest Panorama trek with a scenic flight to Lukla. It is the main gateway of the Everest region. From here we walk to our destination. Walking like in rough trial we get tired and our rest points are legendary Sherpa villages. We get a chance to explore their religion and culture. From the maximum part, we get picturesque valley and fascinating landscapes of mountains. It can be seen rolling on green hills. The main highlight of this trek is the view of Mt. Everest and visiting wonderful Thyangboche Monastery. This monastery is surrounded with pristine woodland and mountains. Doing the entire task and visiting all the places we will be at Lukla. And finally, we have mountain flight to Kathmandu which gives good finishing in of our trek.

Brief Itinerary:
Day 01:  Arrival day in Kathmandu 1,315m and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: In Kathmandu with a sightseeing tour and trek preparation.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2,840m and trek to Phakding 2,640m -04 hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440m – 06 hrs.
Day 05: Rest day for acclimatization in Namche Bazaar with a short hike.
Day 06: Trek to Thyangboche 3,867m – 05 hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Monjo 2,840 m via Namche Bazaar – 06 hrs.
Day 08: Trek to Lukla – 04 hrs.
Day 09: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.
Day 10: International departure for homeward bound.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1,327 m and transfer to hotel.
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport our representatives from Everest Trekking Routes Pvt. Ltd. will welcome you. He/she will asset you and transfer you to the hotel for your overnight.
Day 02: In Kathmandu with a sightseeing tour and trek preparations.
Today, you will do a day tour in Kathmandu valley. In morning time you will visit Pashupatinath (oldest and holy Hindu temple), Bauddhanath (Buddhist temple is known as little Tibet), and Swayambhunath (monkey temple). Finishing this we return for lunch. After lunch, you will visit Kathmandu durbar square and Patan Durbar square. In Kathmandu durbar square you will visit Kumari temple (temple of the living goddess).
Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2,840m and trek to Phakding 2,640m -04 hrs.
Early morning we begin our Everest Panorama Trek with an exciting morning flight to Lukla. It will offer us pleasures view of snowy mountain peaks during our flight. Within 35 to 40 minutes we land on Lukla, pack our baggage start walking to Phakding. We walk through Sherpa Settlements Cheplung, Thado Koshi, and Ghat. Here we get an incredible glimpse of east part of Thamserku peak and Khumbila peak. Viewing all this we reach Phakding for our night.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440m - 06 hrs.
Our first-day walk has made us a bit tired. Having breakfast in the cool morning we enter Sagarmatha National Park and walk on pine forest aside the Dudhkoshi River valley. In today’s walk, we leave last village Jorsale and take final steep to Namche Bazaar. This is the main gateway and luxury town in Everest region. Here we stay an extra night for acclimatization.
Day 05: Rest day for acclimatization in Namche Bazaar and short optional hikes.
Today in Namche we tour around the whole valley. At first, we visit the museum and headquarters of the national park and have a good overview of Mount Everest including Lhotse, Nuptse, Amadablam, Konde, Kongregate and other ranges. Having lunch we also hike around 400 m to Everest View hotel. From here we get the best viewpoint. We enjoy all this with tea and some cookies. Lastly, we return back to Namche Bazaar for our night.
Day 06: Trek to Thyangboche 3,867 m - 05 hrs.
Resting for the whole day we pass around National Park Headquarter. It is just above the ridges over Dudhkoshi Valley. We also pass Kyanjuma gradually downhill at riverside spot Phunki. Then we climb to Monastery land Tengboche. It is blessed around the panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Thamserku, Amadablam, Nuptse-Lhotse ranges and snow peak Himalayas. In around 3 o'clock we visit a monastery for Buddhist religious ceremony.
Day 07: Trek to Monjo 2,860m - 06 hrs.
The blissful moment in harmony of mountains and lush vegetation in morning walk leads us down to a bridge over Imjastse River. From here climbing an hour we reach the small village Sanasa. Then we continue our walk to Namche Bazaar on the winding nice trail. Resting some moment our walk leads downhill back at Dudh Kosi river valley and finally to Monjo for our night.
Day 08: Trek to Lukla - 04 hrs.
It is our last day walk. We will have breakfast and continue downhill to Lukla. We cross several suspension bridges and monasteries. We will feel very sore on legs and knees after descending around to Lukla 2800m. Reaching on Lukla we make confirmation of our flight, take a hot shower and do a small celebration of our trek.
Day 09: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.
From Lukla, we take an early morning flight to Kathmandu. It will take about 35 to 40 minutes. We can enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding the plane. Reaching on Kathmandu, you can do last minute shopping in Kathmandu. At night we celebrate Farewell Dinner together with the trekking team.
Day 10: Final International departure homeward bound.
Now it’s time to say goodbye to the Kathmandu. Your journey in Nepal comes to an end today. You are transferred to the airport for your returning flight. Have a safe journey. Hope you will return back to Nepal again.
